Åsa Petersén and Mahmoud A Pouladi are guest editors of the Special Issue: Glia and non-neuronal cells in Huntington's disease that was published now in August.
The Special issue on Glia and non-neuronal cells in Huntington's disease holds six expert review articles. The understanding how glial and other non-neuronal cells shape HD pathology is expanding amongst researchers in the field.
The topics in this issue's articles include astrocytic dysfunction, innate immune responses in HD, oligodendrocyte pathology and the glymphatic system.
Therapeutic strategies, based on different theoretical backgrounds, are also presented in some of the articles.
