New book on Huntington's disease with Petersén as co-author featured in one of Sweden's largest newspapers

The book "Vi som skulle bli gamla tillsammans" ("We were meant to grow old together") has recently been published by Natur & Kultur.

Its main author Petra Lilja Andersson, Lecturer at the Medical Faculty in Lund, has followed a young couple before and after the woman takes a pre-symptomatic genetic test for HD. The book illustrates the challenges involved in genetic testing and living with HD in the family, as well as the psychiatric aspects of the disease. Petersén has written one chapter in the book focused on the disease and Niklas Juth has written one chapter on the ethics of genetic testing. Svenska Dagbladet, one of Sweden's largest newspapers, featured the book as well as the disease with comments by Petersén on March 27, 2011.
